This filter is more suitable for well water, as it is good at removing all kinds of particles and sediment, including rust and lime scales, in both tap water and well water. It has an NSF/ANSI 42 certification, with Certificate WP-12925 issued by IAMPO in 2022. Additionally, it is Certified by IAPMO R&T according to NSF/ANSI 50 for materials, with all components being BPA Free, Lead Free, and containing "0" harmful substances.

This filter is also Certified by IAPMO with Certificate File No.W-11809 in 2021, and it effectively filters out 99% of big particles. It is designed to be cleanable and reusable, with regular cleaning (e.g., once every 1-2 weeks) allowing the filter to last 3-6 months, depending on water quality and consumption.
